I haven’t written a review in a while, but after the buying experience I had at Marin Speed Shop, it would be rude not to. I had read all the reviews of several Ducati dealerships in the Bay Area and this shop consistently topped the list for customer service. I live 2hours away and there are 4 Ducati dealerships closer to my home, however customer service is very important to me and this place didn’t disappoint. I contacted MSS via email when I was considering the purchase of a new Ducati Multistrada 1200 S Touring. I received an email reply the same day from Peter(on his day off!). After a few emails and phone calls, I had an appointment to test ride and made the trip up. Upon arrival I was greeted promptly by the General Manager Jim and Peter in sales. They have a really nice showroom with many awesome bikes, gear and parts. The GM Jim was super cool, friendly and funny to talk to. Turns out he likes to ride in my town and knows the best coffee shops and restaurants in Santa Cruz. I have to give a shout out to the coffee in this place. It is PREMIUM!Peter had my test bike ready to go and I was off for a ride. The test route is beautiful and offered a good mix of roads. After my ride, I was unsure if this was the bike for me due to an uncomfortable seat. Peter installed a different seat and after the second ride I knew this was a great bike. Peter was patient, knowledgable and relaxed throughout the entire buying experience. No high pressure sales tactics, fake smiles or phony complements. Just a really great guy who wanted to make sure I was informed and happy with the entire process. After some very relaxed and comfortable negotiations, we made a deal and I was a happy new owner.I’d also like to thank Quinn in parts, who patiently took the time to order several parts and give recommendations. He even complemented my previous bike, which made me happy. Ari was the mechanic who explained all the features of my new bike. Ari was very patient and honest in answering my questions. Thank you Ari. There is one more person who went out of his way to help me. Rich(the delivery man) together with Peter helped me load the bike into my truck. Rich took the time to teach me the proper way to load/unload and secure my bike. He also made sure the bike was properly tied down, offered advice on the best route home and suggested that I stop in half moon bay to double check all my straps. This man knows his stuff when it comes to transporting bikes, and I really appreciated his help.I am really glad I chose Marin Speed Shop. Everyone there seemed like genuinely good, hardworking people, who wanted to make me happy and earn a repeat customer. Thank you guys.

Been trying to buy a Rocket III Touring for months. Nikki (in sales) seemed to be the only Triumph dealer in the Bay Area who really wanted to sell me one. We made the entire deal via email. Marine Speed offered me just about what I expected for my 2000 Tiger 955i.The whole crew was professional, very nice and sincere. Got in and out the door on my new 2014 Rocket in about two and half hours. Completely satisfied and just love my Rocket.Nice clean store, lots of inventory, shop looks pro. Very relaxed, no pressure, no games. If anyone there doesn’t ride, I didn’t meet them. Before going to Marine Speed, I kinda wished they were closer to South Frisco. Now I wish they were further away. What a ride.
